Your memories belong to you.

SomePictures stores the photos and details you choose so it can help you organize personal memories. We do not sell your information.

What we keep

Your account email, uploaded photos, names and relationships you provide, memory details, dates, places, tags, cleaned transcripts, source-review transcripts, compact delivery maps, privacy choices, and limited security and usage records.

How voice works

When you start a voice conversation, the selected photos and live audio are sent to OpenAI to produce the conversation. SomePictures never keeps the audio recording. We save a cleaned transcript with filler removed and clear self-corrections applied, plus the raw recognized text so its source can review what was changed. A compact delivery map may preserve observable pacing, pauses, emphasis, relative intonation, pronunciation exceptions and vocal events for efficient future playback. It is not a speaker-identification embedding. Raw text and the delivery map are held in a more restricted encryption domain and follow the source's sharing choice.

Voice recreation and training

Voice recreation is off unless you make a separate choice. We do not silently build a cloned voice, and voice-recreation permission does not grant model-training permission. Research and training each require their own versioned consent and can use only the scope named in that consent.

The free, training-supported plan

The free plan includes unlimited written memories and a monthly dictated-minute allowance. It requires a separate, clear choice allowing de-identified text-derived patterns to support model improvement. This scope excludes photos, raw audio, raw transcripts, direct identifiers, biometric material, precise locations, children's data and sensitive subjects including trauma, abuse, health, sex life, religion, politics, finances and legal matters. No training pipeline is active today. You can revoke future use at any time; your written archive remains available, while subsidized voice and new AI-derived work pause. Eligible derivatives not yet released are withdrawn. Data already used to train a released model cannot be removed from that model. Read the plain-language plan rules.

Billing is not active

Early access is free and invite-only. SomePictures does not collect card details. If paid Family accounts open later, billing will require a fresh, clear choice before any payment begins.

How we protect it

Traffic uses HTTPS. Photos and sensitive text receive application encryption before storage in a private Supabase project in the United States. Access is also limited by account-level database rules.

Children and guardian controls

SomePictures does not create independent accounts for children. A parent or legal guardian can create an encrypted managed profile, choose an age range, and supervise participation from the adult account. Child-connected sharing is restricted to a guardian-approved first-degree relative with a verified SomePictures account. Children's data is excluded from research and model-training choices.

Age ratings and sensitive content

Memories can include a minimum viewer age, sensitivity level and specific warnings for grief, trauma, abuse, violence, sexual content, addiction, self-harm, medical information or death. Sensitive and trauma-related memories are not automatically resurfaced. A guardian review is required before sensitive content is shown in a managed child experience.

Medical material

Ordinary family stories may mention illness or care. Do not upload medical records, clinical documents, provider files or other material that requires SomePictures to operate as a healthcare-record system.

Your choices

You can download your saved index, delete individual photos, change activity-history retention, sign out, or delete your complete account from the Privacy screen.

Site analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics records anonymous visit and device information so we can improve the site. Your photos, voice, names, and memory details are not sent to Google Analytics. You can clear this choice by removing SomePictures site data in your browser.

Sharing

Private sharing and public memories are not enabled in this release. We will ask for a separate choice before either is turned on.

Until a formal privacy contact is published, do not use SomePictures for records you cannot safely remove yourself from the Privacy screen.
